Sinumerik Alarm 14097 Channel %1 block %2 string cannot be converted to AXIS type
Parameters:
%1 = Channel number
%2 = Block number, label
Definitions:
The called function AXNAME – conversion of the transferred parameters of the STRING type to an axis name (return value) of the AXIS type – has not found this axis identifier in the machine data.
Reactions:
– Alarm display.
– Interface signals are set.
– Correction block is reorganized.
Remedy:
Please inform the authorized personnel/service department. Check the transferred parameters (axis name) of the function AXNAME to determine whether a geometry, channel or machine axis of this name has been configured by means of the machine data:
10 000: AXCONF_MACHAX_NAME_TAB
20 070: AXCONF_GEOAX_NAME_TAB
20 080: AXCONF_CHANAX_NAME_TAB
Select the transfer string in accordance with the axis name and change the axis name in the machine data if necessary. (If a change of name is to take place via the NC part program, this change must first be validated by means of a “Power On”).
Program Continuation:
Clear alarm with NC START or RESET key and continue the program.
